About Sentry Technologies

Sentry Technology, Inc. was founded by Robert Waryga in 1992 when he developed the SentryKIDS® portable digital fingerprinting system. Mr. Waryga developed SentryKIDS® with input from the US Secret Service, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children along with child advocates such as Marc Klaas. SentryKIDS® is the first portable digital fingerprinting system used by law enforcement agencies, child advocacy groups and corporate sponsors. SentryKIDS® continues to lead the way with affordable technology that surpasses expensive AFIS system in quality with its copyrighted proprietary algorithms for forensic quality printable fingerprints. Sentry Technology has also developed IDZine™, VisitorSentry™, Family Essentials and other security and identification programs. Today Mr. Waryga sits on the Board of Directors for Sentry Technologies.

In 2005 Sentry Technology was purchased by Brian C. Famous, who now serves as the president and CEO. Under Mr. Famous, Sentry Technologies stands out as the preferred vendor when it comes to quality, reliability and service. Mr. Famous has engineered the SentryKIDS® systems to be affordable to every family without compromising the forensic quality of the credential (Bio-Doc™). The SentryKIDS® program pioneered the digital child fingerprinting and identification industry and continues to lead the way with the personal family version of SentryKIDS® called the SentryKIDS® MyChildSafetyID™.
